In a dystopian future, four powerful Megapowers battle it out to rule the world. They're all over the international stage, striving to gain power and prestige over rivals and keep a grip on internal tensions. A thrilling new arms race kicks off! Defcon is a fantastic entry - level competitive wargame for 2 to 4 players. Each player takes charge of one of these Megapowers. The game's aim is to secure the most consensus by the end of the fifth round. Consensus is the sum of the military index (controlled territories) and the reputation index. Each round has five phases. All players complete each phase in initiative order before moving on. The key to winning is finding the perfect balance between military might and public opinion.

How to play: First, gather 2 to 4 players. Each player picks one of the Megapowers. The game runs for five rounds. In each round, there are five phases. Make sure to follow the initiative order when completing each phase. Your goal is to get the most consensus by the end of the fifth round. Consensus comes from your military index (territories you control) and your reputation index. Try to balance building up your military strength and keeping the public on your side. Note: Don't just focus on one aspect. Ignoring either military power or public opinion could lead to defeat. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and safe place. Make sure to store the cards and pieces neatly to avoid losing anything.
