Descent Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) Dark Elements

In the Dark Elements expansion, the overlord is replaced with an overlord track and a deck of monster activation cards to control the monsters you face. Your heroes must fight through waves of monsters to escape their fate. Along the way, there's a chance to gain experience and grab items. Dark Elements offers a one - night mini - campaign with all the excitement and adventure of Descent in a fully cooperative setting. Note that the Lair of the Wyrm expansion is necessary to play the Dark Elements cooperative adventure, and the rules aren't in the box but can be downloaded for free from the Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition support section.

How to use: First, make sure you have the Lair of the Wyrm expansion as it's required. Then, get the rules from the Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition support section for free. Set up the overlord track and use the monster activation cards to control the monsters. Your heroes start the adventure and battle through waves of monsters. Try to gain experience and grab items as you go. Note: Without the Lair of the Wyrm expansion, you can't play the Dark Elements cooperative adventure. Also, keep in mind that the rules aren't in the box, so you need to download them. Maintenance: Keep the cards and the overlord track in a dry place. You can use card sleeves to protect the cards from wear and tear.
