This second - edition expansion adds 26 brand - new Kingdom cards to the game, including 20 Actions, 3 Treasures, 3 Victory cards, and 3 Reactions. The main theme features cards that trigger immediate effects when you buy or gain them. Moreover, the second edition contains nine new types of Kingdom cards. An update pack (Dominion: Hinterlands – Update Pack) will be released separately for owners of the first edition. How to use: Start by setting up the game as per the standard Dominion rules. Then, add the 26 new Kingdom cards from the Hinterlands expansion. Shuffle them well and place them on the table. Players can then buy or gain these cards during their turns, triggering immediate effects as described on the cards. When using the nine new types of Kingdom cards in the second edition, if you own the first edition, you can use the update pack to integrate them. Note: Make sure all players understand the new rules associated with the Hinterlands expansion cards. Read the card descriptions carefully before making a move. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry and cool place. You can use card sleeves to protect them from wear and tear. If the cards get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
