Flames of War Destruction Charges (GSO197)

The Flames of War Armored Destruction Charges Set (GSO197) comes with five powerful destruction charges. When Pionierbataillon 33 of 15. Panzernavision reached Libya, their 3rd company had armoured demolition charge carriers. This company was equipped with Panzer I and II light tanks having an Abwurfvorrichtung (dropping device). It included two Destruction Platoons. The Abwurfvorrichtung carried a 110 lb. (50kg) charge in an armoured box behind the tank. When near an obstacle, the tank backed up, opened the box, and dropped the charge. In the game, each Panzer I or Panzer II C (late) tank with a Demolition Charge can place it against an adjacent Bunker or Barbed Wire Obstacle instead of shooting. Roll a 4+ to destroy a Bunker or remove a Barbed Wire Obstacle. Otherwise, the Bunker is pinned down and the obstacle stays intact. How to use: In the game, when it's your turn, if you have a Panzer I or Panzer II C (late) tank with a Demolition Charge, you can choose to place the charge against an adjacent Bunker or Barbed Wire Obstacle instead of shooting. Then roll a die. If you get a 4 or higher, the Bunker is destroyed or the Barbed Wire Obstacle is removed. If not, the Bunker is pinned down. Note: This is a game item, so use it only in the context of the Flames of War game. Maintenance: Keep it in a dry and safe place to avoid any damage. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or rough handling to ensure it lasts for a long - time.
