Product Information
In the Glasgow board game, players embark on an abstract journey through the city. The goal is to gather resources, perform special actions, and most crucially, construct buildings. Build a factory, and it'll yield more goods when other buildings are placed strategically around it. A train - station's scoring depends on your other constructions. A monument simply nets you a large number of points, and in the end, points are the key to victory. To start the game, randomly arrange a ring of town figures, removing two per game. The player trailing in the town circle takes the next turn and can move to any town figure they choose. Most figures offer resources like brick, steel, or money, and there's a limit on how many of each resource you can hold. Some figures present two random building plans. If you visit with the right resources, you can pay to build. Pay extra, and you can build another structure! The first building can be placed anywhere on the playing area. Subsequent buildings must be adjacent to existing ones, gradually filling a 4x4 grid created by the players. The game ends after the sixteenth building is up, and players score based on their constructions. See who contributes most to Glasgow's development!
How to use: First, randomly arrange a ring of town figures and remove two from play. The player who is behind in the town circle gets to take the next turn and choose a town figure to visit. Collect resources like brick, steel, or money from most figures. If you find a figure with building plans and have the right resources, pay to build a building. The first building can be placed freely, and then place other buildings next to existing ones until a 4x4 grid is filled. Once the sixteenth building is built, the game ends, and you score based on your constructions. Things to note: Remember there's a limit on how many resources of each type you can hold. Also, think carefully about where to place your buildings as it affects the benefits you get, like how a factory's output is related to other nearby buildings. Maintenance advice: Since it's a board game, keep it in a dry and clean place. After each use, make sure to put all the pieces back in the box properly to avoid losing them.
