Product Information

Happy Garden is a delightful family game that brings back the vibes of the 70s and the Flower Power era. Each player's goal is to create the most beautiful garden. In each turn, players pick one tile from the Garden Center, which includes flowers, garden gnomes, or windmills, and place it adjacent to another tile in their garden. To score points, you need to validate tiles. For a flower, it must be surrounded by a flower of the same color but different shape and a flower of the same shape but different color (there are 6 colors and 6 shapes). Garden gnomes, being color jokers with 3 colors each, are validated when surrounded by the corresponding 3 colors. Windmills are validated when aligned in a row or column with 3 flowers of the same shape. The game gets tricky as you can only take one tile per turn, and the Garden Center may not always be fully available. You'll also deal with butterflies, wheelbarrows, earthworms, and moles to boost your score or lower others'. With a limited number of turns, you must be quick. Beneath its friendly look and easy setup, Happy Garden offers deep strategic thinking. It's accessible for mainstream audiences and challenging enough for hardcore game lovers, making you want to play again right after the first game.

How to play: Start by setting up the Garden Center with all the tiles. Each player gets a space to build their garden. Take turns picking one tile from the Garden Center and placing it in your garden next to an existing tile. Try to meet the validation conditions for each tile type to score points. Notice that for flowers, consider both color and shape; for gnomes, look at the three - color combination; and for windmills, check the alignment. When using butterflies, wheelbarrows, earthworms, and moles, think about how they can affect your or others' scores. Remember, the number of turns is limited, so plan your moves quickly. Things to note: Be aware that the Garden Center may not have all the tiles you want every turn. Also, plan your combos well because you can only pick one tile per turn. Maintenance: Keep the tiles clean and organized after each game. Store them in a dry place to prevent damage. This will ensure the game remains in good condition for many play - throughs.
