History: Hasami Shogi, also known as “Scissor Chess”, is a fascinating Japanese Shogi variant. Its name comes from the way you capture enemy pieces by sandwiching them between two of your own. To play Hasami Shogi, you'll be in charge of 18 samurai warriors. The goal is to line up 5 of your pieces in a row. You capture your opponent's pieces by placing two of your own pieces on either side of their piece. This is a two - player game that usually takes about 20 minutes to play and is suitable for kids aged 6 and above. When you're done playing, keep the game in a dry place to prevent any damage to the pieces. Make sure to store it in its box or a container to avoid losing any of the samurai warriors.
