The Horrible Therapist is a unique card game where you craft awful comics about therapy. It's the first true 'The Oatmeal' game since Exploding Kittens. With a proven call - and - response gameplay perfect for social gatherings, each player submits answers to a prompt, and the one with the funniest or most unhinged answer wins. The game comes with blank cards for you to customize your own comics and an insert from The Oatmeal addressing mental health. Contents include 80 Question Cards, 150 Answer Cards (+10 Write - In Cards), and 200 Treatment Cards. It's suitable for 3 - 8 players, takes 15+ minutes to play, and is for ages 17 and up.
To play the Horrible Therapist card game, first, gather 3 to 8 players who are 17 years old or above. Shuffle the 80 Question Cards, 150 Answer Cards (along with the 10 Write - In Cards), and 200 Treatment Cards separately. One player starts by picking a Question Card and reading it out loud. The other players then select an Answer Card from their hand that they think is the funniest or most unhinged response to the question. The player who started with the Question Card decides the winner of that round. If you want to get creative, use the blank cards to make your own comics. As for maintenance, keep the cards in a dry place and avoid bending or creasing them. Have a blast playing and creating those awful therapy comics!
