In the game Imperial Settlers, settlers from four major global powers - Romans, Barbarians, Egyptians, and Japanese - discover new lands full of resources and opportunities. They quickly move in to expand their empires. Players can build various buildings to boost the economy, open mines and fields for resource - gathering, and construct barracks and training grounds to train soldiers. However, they soon find the land is too small, sparking a war. This card game allows players to lead one of the four factions. By placing buildings and sending workers, they can acquire new resources and abilities. Played over five rounds, players take actions like exploring new lands, building structures, trading resources, and conquering enemies to score victory points. Its core mechanism is inspired by the author's card game 51st State.
To play Imperial Settlers, first, choose one of the four factions - Romans, Barbarians, Egyptians, or Japanese. During each of the five rounds, you can take actions such as placing buildings on the game board. After placing a building, send your workers to it to start getting new resources and abilities. Explore new lands to find more opportunities, trade resources with other players or in - game markets to strengthen your position, and don't forget to train soldiers to conquer your enemies and score victory points. When handling the cards, be gentle to avoid damage. Keep the cards in a dry and cool place to prevent warping. If the cards get dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them carefully.
