Isle of Skye Journeyman

Becoming a king is tough, and being one is even tougher. You need warriors to safeguard your kingdom, merchants to keep your treasury flush, and heralds to spread your fame across the land. Fortunately, your best friend has stepped in to handle the hard work, letting you focus on becoming a glorious chieftain. Isle of Skye: Journeyman, the first major expansion for Isle of Skye, comes with new personal player boards that show your progress in strength, prosperity, and popularity. Since each progress step has requirements, these boards influence tile selling and placement. But just placing the right tiles isn't enough to reach the next development level and get rewards. A new pawn, the journeyman, must travel the kingdom and 'activate' the tiles. Also, there are 4 new scoring tiles for the new challenges of Isle of Skye: Journeyman.

To use this game expansion, start by setting up the new personal player boards. These will track your progress in different areas. When it's your turn, you can sell and place tiles as usual, but remember that the requirements on the personal player boards matter. To move to the next level of development and get rewards, send the journeyman pawn around the kingdom to activate the relevant tiles. As for the new scoring tiles, use them according to the new challenges in the expansion. Keep the game components in a dry place to avoid damage. And always follow the rules of the main Isle of Skye game and the additional rules in this expansion.
