Kiitos is an exciting, fast-tempo card-based word game. It features novel and simple rules, along with deep and emergent gameplay. Players start by playing a letter of a word and stating a target word. Then, other players build on it. They can either play the next letter or change the target word. You can score positive points by finishing a word or trap your opponent into taking an unfinished word for negative points. The game rules change as you play, with two modes: Kiitos (building words left to right) and Super-Kiitos (building at either end). You can challenge dubious words, and fake words are okay if unchallenged. It's like a trick-taking game with deduction and bluffing. Lateral thinking and smart strategies are sometimes rewarded, and luck can affect your plans. The target word can change 5 or more times in one hand.
