Marrying Mr. Darcy is an exciting strategy card game. Players step into the shoes of female characters from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The goal is to score points and catch the eye of eligible suitors. Heroines attend events, develop their characters, and use a bit of cunning to gain an edge. The aim? To marry well and be the most content character at game's end! The Emma Expansion brings 6 new Heroine Cards, 5 new suitor cards, and 60 new event cards, all inspired by 'Emma.' Swap out the base game cards with these new ones and you're ready to play. Enjoy new activities like Blunders, Interference, Gossip, and Revelations. Plus, each new playable Heroine has a unique 'lady power' for fresh gameplay every time. Note: The Marrying Mr Darcy base game is required; this is not a stand - alone game.

To play with the Emma Expansion, first make sure you have the Marrying Mr Darcy base game. Then, simply replace the Heroine, Suitor, and Event cards in the base game with the new cards from the Emma Expansion. Shuffle the new cards well before starting the game. During the game, you can attend events, improve your character, and use your wits to attract suitors. Each new Heroine has a special 'lady power', so try to use it to your advantage. Remember, this is not a stand - alone game, so you must have the base game to play. Keep the cards in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. If you notice any cards are getting worn out, you can consider using card sleeves to protect them.
