Master Word Follow the Guide

Are you as sharp - witted as a fox and as tenacious as a bloodhound? Do you have an eagle - eye for details? Gather your team's strengths and hunt for the Master Word! Master Word is an exciting co - operative word - based deduction game. Players collaborate to find a secret word from just one starting hint. In each game, a Guide picks a card, views the Master Word, and shows the starting hint to the other players (Seekers). The Seekers then have 90 seconds to discuss and write a Clue on a card, placing them in a row. After that, the Guide puts a number of tokens at the end of the row corresponding to the Clues that lead to the Master Word. The tricky part is that the Seekers don't know which Clues the tokens are for! If the Seekers write the Master Word on a Solution Card before 7 rounds end, everyone wins. But if they fail or accidentally write the Master Word on a Clue Card, everyone loses. This game is suitable for 3 - 6 players, takes 5 - 15 minutes to play, and is for ages 12 and up.

To play the Master Word game, first, choose a player to be the Guide. The Guide selects a card and looks at the Master Word secretly. Then, show the starting hint on the card to the other players, who are the Seekers. The Seekers have 90 seconds to talk among themselves and each write a Clue on a card. Place these Clue cards in a row. The Guide then places tokens at the end of the row based on how many Clues are on the right track to the Master Word. Remember, you won't know which Clues the tokens refer to. Try to figure out the Master Word and write it on the Solution Card before the 7 rounds finish to win the game. Be careful not to write the Master Word on a Clue Card by mistake, or you'll all lose. This game is for 3 to 6 players aged 12 and above and usually takes 5 to 15 minutes. Keep the cards in a dry and clean place to maintain them well.
