To start playing Pandemic Legacy Blue, first, set up the game board. Place the research stations on the cities as indicated in the rulebook. Hand out the role cards to each player so everyone knows their unique abilities. Each player gets a set of player cards at the start of the game. The goal is to work together as a team to prevent the four deadly diseases from spreading across the world. On your turn, you can move your pawn around the board, build research stations, share knowledge with other players, or try to find cures for the diseases. Be careful! The actions you take in each game will affect future games. After each month (or game session), follow the instructions in the rulebook to see how the world has changed. Keep the game pieces in a dry and clean place when not in use. If any of the cards get damaged, you can use a bit of tape to fix them.
