There are also fun cooperative gameplay options for two players. The metal hero from the future, Ex Machina, is here! His Metal Shell can withstand hits, and when powered up, he shoots Laser Eyes! With a unique set of items and letter cards, Ex Machina is the toughest hero in Paperback Adventures. This package comes with one CHARACTER BOX that includes a Character Tray with Tokens (designed by Game Trayz™), 1 Character Card, 6 Enemy Cards, 6 Reward Cards, 60 Letter Cards with sleeves, 5 Item Cards with sleeves, 4 McGuffin Cards with sleeves, and 4 Core Cards (2 in envelope) with sleeves.

How to use: First, make sure you have the core box along with this character box. Take out the character tray with tokens and set up the game area. Shuffle the enemy cards, reward cards, letter cards, item cards, and McGuffin cards. Draw the appropriate cards as per the game rules. For Ex Machina, use his special abilities like the Metal Shell and Laser Eyes when the time is right. If you're playing cooperatively with another player, decide on a strategy together. Note: Keep the cards away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent damage. When not in use, store the cards in their sleeves and put them back in the box. Try different combinations of cards to discover new gameplay experiences.
