It lets you upgrade the 2018 first - print run of The City of Kings to the 2019 second - print run. The kit comes with an updated rule book and creature stat bars from the second print. You need the core First Edition game (sold separately) to play. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. How to use: First, make sure you have the core First Edition of the City of Kings board game. Then, open the upgrade kit and replace the old rule book with the updated one. Swap out the creature stat bars with the new ones from the kit. You're then ready to play the upgraded version of the game. Note: This upgrade kit is only for the first - print run (2018) of The City of Kings. You must have the core First Edition game to use this kit, which is sold separately.
