It includes 52 Legendary Action Cards, 52 Achievement Sheets, and a 24 - page Echoes of the Past booklet. Requires the core game to play. Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. As an add - on during the Tainted Grail Kickstarter campaign, it offers a personal achievement sheet for each character from all three campaigns, including Niamh. These sheets have 9 special conditions that trigger 9 unique Memories. Fulfilling a condition lets you mark it off and read a Memory with small gameplay effects (positive or negative). Completing blocks of three achievements gets you a Legendary Action card, usable once for an epic action. Triggering all basic memories leads to a final side - quest, and victory rewards a special golden Legendary Action card for a permanent second gameplay action. The sheets can be used as a legacy element, allowing heroes to start new games with part of their story and some Heroic Feats cards unlocked. This add - on adds interesting personal objectives, a legacy element, reinforces character backstories, and deepens the Tainted Grail world. How to use: First, make sure you have the core Tainted Grail game. Then, unpack the expansion and distribute the Legendary Action Cards, Achievement Sheets, and the Echoes of the Past booklet. Each player gets an achievement sheet for their chosen character. As you play the core game, try to meet the special conditions on the achievement sheet to trigger Memories. When you complete a block of three achievements, take a Legendary Action card and use it when you want to perform an epic action. If you manage to trigger all basic memories, move on to the final side - quest. Remember, the golden Legendary Action card you get after winning the side - quest gives your character a permanent second gameplay action. The achievement sheets can be reused in new games as a legacy element. Things to note: This is an expansion, so you need the core game to play. Paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. Maintenance: Keep the cards and booklet in a dry and cool place to prevent damage. You can use card sleeves for the Legendary Action Cards to protect them from wear and tear.
