Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated. Traditional Japanese festivities and 16 new travelers join the Tokaido journey. The matsuri, triggered by travelers at intermediate inns, bring new and unique events. Matsuri adds new cards and tokens, letting players experience Japanese feasts. To play Tokaido: Matsuri, first set up the base Tokaido game as usual. Then, add the new cards and tokens from this expansion. The arrival of the 16 new travelers at intermediate inns will trigger the matsuri, or festivals. Use the new cards to change how you play each section of the road. Remember, this is the Kickstarter Edition, and paid add - ons from the campaign aren't included unless otherwise stated. Keep the cards and tokens in a dry place to prevent damage.
