Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. 1001 Odysseys offers thrilling space adventures. After discovering an operational alien stargate, the first human FTL ship, the Odyssey, explores a new galaxy sector. Players become the Odyssey’s bridge crew, discovering planets, meeting aliens, and finding their way home. Each playthrough is an Episode, a co - operative adventure with multiple scenes, story choices, and conclusions. Stand - alone episodes tell different Odyssey adventures, and you don't need the same players every time. Choices impact the story's outcome. Episodes have scenes with Quests leading through Locations. Players choose an Action, a Quest, and a Location to read a specific paragraph in the Adventure Book and advance the story. To play 1001 Odysseys, gather 1 to 5 players. Start an Episode and become part of the Odyssey's bridge crew. Each scene has Quests and Locations. When it's your turn, pick an Action, a Quest, and a Location. Then, read the corresponding paragraph in the Adventure Book to move the story forward. Your journeys are noted in the Passport booklet.
