Product Information

Board Game Geek Rating: 6.00. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 7.11. Suitable for 2 to 7 players and published in 2015. This is the Kickstarter Edition of Asking for Trobils. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. Asking for Trobils is an exciting worker - placement board game. You play as a Trobil Hunter, aiming to rid the star system of space pests called Trobils. Start with one ship and place it at different locations to gather resources for trapping Trobils. If one ship isn't enough, fly through a wormhole to create more ships. Make connections to get more resources, or interact with the local Riffraff. Send out pirates, bounty hunters, or gangsters to make things tough for opponents, or send traders and courtesans to enhance locations. Each captured Trobil card earns you victory points, and the player with the most points wins. At TheGameSteward, we're happy to support campaigns like this. A good portion of your spending on Asking for Trobils will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. If you have purchase questions or need game advice, contact us at The Game Steward.

To play Asking for Trobils, first, decide who will be the Trobil Hunters. Each player starts with one ship. Place your ship at different locations on the board to gather resources. These resources are key to trapping Trobils. If you find that one ship isn't getting you enough resources, fly through the wormhole on the board to create two or three ships. You can also make connections with other elements on the board to gain more resources or interact with the local Riffraff. Send out pirates, bounty hunters, or gangsters to make areas more difficult for your opponents. On the other hand, send traders and courtesans to enhance locations for everyone. Remember, for every Trobil card you capture, you get victory points. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins. As for the Kickstarter Edition, note that paid add - ons from the campaign are not included unless it's specifically stated. When you're done playing, just neatly put all the pieces, cards, and ships back in the box. Keep the box in a dry place to prevent any damage to the game components.
