BATTALIA: The Creation is an exciting, fast - paced, strategic deck - building board game. It combines map construction, hero and area control, and a unique calendar mechanism. In the base game, players buy useful artefacts, hire battle and labor units, build roads and cities, and send heroes to battle. The goal is to find the best combination of assets and use them at the right time to become the ruler of Battalia and win the game. You can win through aggressive conquest or peaceful city development. There are two game end conditions: filling the game board or a player reaching 5 level - four cities. The winner is the one with the most victory points at the end.
