Product Information

Board Game Geek Rating: 6.01. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 6.73. This light dice - drafting board game is for 1 to 4 players and was published in 2013. It's the Kickstarter Edition of Castle Dice. Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated otherwise. In Castle Dice, players are ordered by the king to build castles along the kingdom's borders. The one who builds the greatest castle becomes the new heir to the throne. Roll the dice to explore the land, take turns gathering resources, and use them to hire workers and upgrade castles. But watch out! Barbarians from neighboring lands will attack and steal your resources. After seven turns, the player with the most victory points wins. We're happy to back campaigns and offer Castle Dice for online purchase at TheGameSteward. A large part of your spending on this game will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. If you have questions about buying or need game advice, contact The Game Steward.

To play Castle Dice, first gather 1 to 4 players. You'll be tasked by the king to build castles. Start by rolling the dice to explore the land. Take turns to gather resources from the dice results. Use these resources to hire workers and improve your castle. Throughout the game, be aware that barbarians from neighboring lands will attack and steal your resources. Plan your resource gathering and spending carefully. After seven turns, the game ends, and the player with the most victory points (the greatest castle) wins. This is the Kickstarter Edition. Remember, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. If you want to keep your game in good condition, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and make sure the dice and game pieces are kept together in the box.
