Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. Consumption is a thrilling worker placement and resource management game. The goal is to meet your body's food needs. Shopping, cooking, or dining out are key strategies, balanced by physical activity to burn calories. You earn points by completing recipes and activities, and giving your body what it craves brings the most rewards. Ignoring your body's needs can lead to diseases. Over six rounds, choose actions on the main and player boards, like cooking or dining out. Cooking requires grocery shopping first, but plan well as food can expire, and resisting cravings can be tricky. Completing recipes unlocks useful abilities. Dining out, at buffets or farmer's markets, is also an option, and decisions depend on what's on offer. All food, represented by colored cubes, goes into your 'body' according to food groups. As the game progresses, you might over - consume certain groups, time to exercise! Through various activities, remove cubes to get back to a healthy state, but don't delay. Completed activities give end - game points. Consumption is fun, easy to learn, with deep strategy and intuitive mechanisms. It has high replay value, perfect for families and gamers. How to play: First, set up the main game board and your player board. Decide on the number of players (1 - 4). Each round, you'll choose actions like cooking or going out to eat. If you choose to cook, go grocery shopping for ingredients. But remember, food can expire, so plan your recipes well. Completing recipes will unlock extra abilities. When dining out, make decisions based on what the buffet or farmer's market offers. All the food, represented by colored cubes, goes into your 'body' according to different food groups. As you play, you might find you've eaten too much of certain groups. That's when you need to do activities to remove cubes from your body. After six rounds, count your points based on met food needs and completed activities, and the one with the most points wins. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and clean place. Make sure to store the colored cubes properly to avoid losing them.
