There's no dungeon master; it's players against the game. You become animists, heroes who can summon all sorts of creatures (represented by cards in your deck) and combine them in unique ways. Team up to defeat the evil Karn, a once - great animist corrupted by power. The game has three chapters and a 'game save' feature for playing over multiple nights. It comes with treasure, magic, unlockable upgrades, boss fights, a large pool of minions, over 130 creatures, and ten unique heroes! How to use: First, set up the game according to the instructions in the rulebook. Each player chooses an animist hero. Build your deck with the creature cards. During the game, take turns to summon creatures, combine them, and work as a team to face Karn and his minions. The game is divided into three chapters. You can use the 'game save' mechanism between game nights to pick up where you left off. Notice: Remember that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. Make sure all players understand the rules before starting. Maintenance advice: Keep the cards in a dry and cool place to prevent them from warping or getting damaged.
