Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign aren't included unless stated otherwise. In Empire’s End, you lead a powerful civilization and aim to prevent its collapse. 2 - 4 players compete to fend off calamities. The game combines reverse - bidding, engine - building, long - term planning, and strategic depth for a fast - paced, tense gameplay with multiple victory paths. Players start with a civilization at its peak. The game progresses through different phases. During the Disaster phase, face common threats like famine, floods, or barbarians. The player who wins the bidding takes the disaster, which hits one of their territories. With each disaster, the empire's people gain wisdom and resilience. Similar to the game No Thanks, resources bid by all players go to the player taking the disaster card, who also gets a new ability. Each turn, players move on a progress track determining the phase they'll face. Gain resources in Production phases, rebuild territories in Industry phases, and compete in Military phases. At the end of the track, the civilization with the most victory points wins. Intact territories, innovations, and military successes can all contribute to victory. We're happy to support campaigns and offer Empire’s End: Deluxe All - In Edition Bundle for online purchase at TheGameSteward. A large part of your spending on this bundle will be used to back new games on Kickstarter. If you have questions about purchasing or need game advice, contact The Game Steward.

As the game progresses through various phases, pay attention to the progress track to know what phase is coming up. During the Disaster phase, be strategic when bidding as taking a disaster can be both a set - back and an opportunity to gain resources and a new ability. In Production phases, focus on gathering resources, use Industry phases to rebuild lost territories, and take on other players in Military phases. When the game ends at the end of the progress track, count your victory points from intact territories, innovations, and military successes. Remember, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless specified. Keep the wooden markers and tokens in a dry place to prevent damage. If the neoprene player mats get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a damp cloth. If you have any questions during the game, feel free to contact The Game Steward for help.
