In this game, you become a mafia boss. Start with a gang of thugs and a couple of businesses. Hire new gangsters for dirty work and collect cash. Make investments for new business lines or monopolies like drug dealing, moneylending, or prostitution. Bribe politicians and cops, and put money into night clubs, casinos, or waste management. You'll need to cooperate with other families for big deals, but never trust them as they'll backstab you at the first chance. Each player controls gangster cards to earn money or attack others. Plan actions secretly, play them in turn. You often need specific business cards for success and can negotiate with other players if you don't have them. Players bargain, spy, threaten, and deceive. Each of the four rounds adds new action cards and more gangsters, making actions more diverse, jobs more profitable, and attacks more powerful.
