You'll be the leader of your village, using hand - building, worker placement, and multi - use cards. The goal? Build the most advanced village and win! It's all about cards, with simple rules and smart strategic choices. Hunt, gather, innovate, procreate, and forage - each task gets you different cards. Each turn, you can either play villager cards to a task deck to get more cards or return all your villager cards to hand and play non - villager cards to your village. You can't choose an occupied task (except for the Forage Task). When two of the five tasks are empty, it's scoring time, and the one with the most points wins. How to play: First, set up the game by laying out the cards for the core game and the expansion. Each player takes on the role of a village leader. On your turn, you have two options. You can either take a Task turn and play Villager cards from your hand to one of the five Task decks to get more cards. Or, take a Village turn, return all your Villager cards to hand, and for each Villager returned, you can play a non - Villager card to your Village. Remember, except for the Forage Task, you can't choose a task that's already occupied. The game ends when two of the five tasks are empty, and then you score points. Maintenance advice: Keep the cards in a cool, dry place to prevent them from getting damaged. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
