Survivors live on the Saltlands, the plains left by a once - great ocean. They use land sails on wheels. But a storm of raiders from the west approaches. In Saltlands, the first group to find and reach an exit wins. There are no fixed teams; players can cooperate or betray. Each player starts with one captain and can increase their crew during the game. Crew members mean extra lives and actions per turn. Players move with land sails according to the wind. They can criss - cross upwind slowly or speed on a broad reach. At the end of each turn, players choose which raiders to move. They can help each other or force a confrontation with raiders. How to play: First, each player starts the game with a single captain. As the game goes on, you can increase your crew. Crew members give you an extra life and an action each turn. Move your land sails according to the wind direction. You can move slowly upwind or quickly on a broad reach. At the end of your turn, choose which group of raiders to move. Try to be the first group to find and reach an exit point to win. You can either cooperate with other players or backstab them as you like. You can also fight the raiders and take their vehicles as an alternative way to move around. Things to note: This is the Kickstarter Edition of the game. Usually, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included, so check carefully. Maintenance: Keep the game components in a dry and clean place to avoid damage. If the cards get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
