Product Information

Board Game Geek Rating: 6.10. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 6.68. This game is suitable for 1 to 5 players and was published in 2013. It's the Kickstarter Edition of the SOS Titanic Board Game. Note that unless stated otherwise, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. On April 14, 1912, at 23:40 in the North Atlantic, the R.M.S. Titanic hits an iceberg. Water floods in, and the ship lists to starboard. Panic spreads on board. As a crew member, alone or with others, you need to stay calm and save as many passengers as possible. Time is running out! The SOS Titanic card game uses a Patience - like mechanism. Cards represent passengers that you arrange on decks and then place in lifeboats in a specific order. As a crew, you and your teammates must move and arrange passengers quickly. Each Titanic section has a pile of cards with only the top one accessible. On your turn, draw cards from the main deck and move passengers to lifeboats. Failing to move a passenger or reshuffling the main deck may sink a ship section, reducing piles and hopes. Use action cards at critical moments. The game ends when the ship sinks completely or all passengers are saved. At TheGameSteward, we're happy to support campaigns to offer you games like the SOS Titanic Kickstarter Game. A large percentage of your spending on this game will go towards backing new Kickstarter games. If you have purchase questions or need game advice, contact The Game Steward.

How to play: As a crew member, your goal is to save as many passengers as possible. The game uses a card - based system similar to Patience. Each turn, draw cards from the main deck and try to move passengers from the ship to the lifeboats. Remember, each section of the Titanic has a pile of cards, and only the top one is available. You can work alone or with other crew members. Action cards can be used at crucial times. End of the game: The game ends when the ship has sunk completely or all remaining passengers have been saved. Things to note: This is the Kickstarter Edition of the game. Unless otherwise stated, paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. Also, if you fail to move at least one passenger or need to reshuffle the main deck, a section of the ship may sink. Maintenance: Keep the cards in a dry place to prevent damage. You can use a card protector to extend their lifespan.
