You're the head of a R & D Hub in a Space Research Center, competing with others. Your goal is to complete large - scale space projects by gathering top - notch minds. Thanks to you, satellites, manned spaceships, and orbital stations will take off! Score Progress points by recruiting Specialists and finishing Projects. The game ends when all Projects are done or you've recruited 12 Specialists. The player with the most Progress wins. Key features: A closed - loop resource system where recruiting a Specialist makes you pass Research tokens to the left. Specialists are assigned to Divisions by skills. More Specialists in a Division make it easier to recruit new ones. All Specialists have unique abilities, but only the top - card ability is active. Think carefully! To play the Space Explorers board game, first, set up the game board and get all the necessary tokens and cards ready. You're the head of a Research & Development Hub in a Space Research Center. When you recruit a Specialist, you pass Research tokens to the player on your left. Specialists are assigned to different Divisions according to their skills. The more Specialists you have in a Division, the easier it is to recruit new ones there. Each Specialist has a unique ability, but only the ability of the top - card in each stack is active. So, think carefully before adding a new Specialist as you might lose an existing ability. The game ends when all available Projects are completed or you've recruited 12 Specialists to your Hub.
