Board Game Geek Rating: 5.85. Board Game Geek Avg Player Rating: 7.18. For 1 to 4 players, published in 2019. This is the Kickstarter Edition of Tussie Mussie by Button Shy Games. Tussie - Mussie is inspired by the Victorian fad of assigning meanings to exchanged flowers. Famous authors like Shakespeare, Austen, and the Bronte sisters referenced flower meanings in their works. This game features an I - Split - You - Choose drafting system. Players draw 2 cards, offer one face - up and one face - down to their neighbor. The neighbor selects a card, and the active player gets the other. After 4 cards per player, face - down cards are revealed, and players score their collections. After 3 rounds, the player with the highest total score wins. There's also a solo expansion by Mike Mullins. We're excited to offer this game at TheGameSteward. A portion of every dollar spent on this pledge will back new Kickstarter games!

How to play Tussie Mussie: First, the active player draws two cards. They offer one face - up and one face - down to their neighbor. The neighbor then chooses a card, and the active player keeps the other. Do this until each player has 4 cards. After that, the round ends, and it's time to score. Face - up cards are your bouquet, and face - down cards are your keepsakes. Trigger card abilities in any order you like and score them from left to right. Each heart on a card is worth 1 point. Play for 3 rounds, and the player with the highest combined score wins. Note: This is the Kickstarter Edition, which includes the core game and stretch goals, but paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless stated. There's no special maintenance needed for this game. Just keep the cards in a safe place to avoid damage.
