Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. Wizard Kittens is an exciting semi - cooperative set collection card game. Players take on the roles of wizard kittens who accidentally released curses from the library's restricted section. They must defeat the curses before getting caught by Professor Whispurr, the librarian. Each turn is fast - paced and full of interesting choices, mainly about which spell to use and how. Spells let kittens draw extra cards, throw cards at other players, discard cards from their own play areas, or trade any two cards in play. No player can use the same spell two turns in a row. The game ends when the last of the six curses is defeated or when the Professor Whispurr card is drawn. If the kittens defeat the last curse, they count points (including a secret objective Extra Credit card), and the highest scorer wins. If caught by Professor Whispurr, the Cleanest Paws Clause applies. Kittens with 10 or more points lose, and among the remaining, the one with the fewest cards in the play area wins. How to use: First, set up the game by placing all the components from the Magical Edition core game, Magical Monsters Expansion, Character Mat, and other included items as described in the rulebook. Each player becomes a wizard kitten. Start the game and take turns. During your turn, make decisions on which spell to use among the available ones. Remember, you can't use the same spell two turns in a row. Use spells to draw extra cards, interact with other players, or manage your own cards. The game ends in two ways: either when you defeat the last curse or when the Professor Whispurr card is drawn. Calculate points and determine the winner according to the rules. Note: Paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not part of this bundle unless specifically stated. When playing, handle the cards gently to avoid damage.
