In Long Shot: The Dice Game, you and up to eight friends can buy horses, place bets, collect jockey gear, pick lucky numbers, and more in a thrilling race to earn the most money. The game takes place during one race. Each turn, the active player rolls the dice, places them in two columns, and moves the horse that was rolled. They can also move any horses they own with the rolled number. Then, the active player performs an action by choosing a dice pairing or can choose to buy a horse. All other players then perform an action by choosing a dice pairing at the same time. If the active player moves a horse onto or past a track space with a bonus token, they get the bonus action. The game ends when a third horse crosses the finish line. Players add up their winnings from the Winner’s Purse, bets, jockey sets, and race goals, and then add their remaining cash.
