Product Information

Green Stuff Basic Epoxy, also known as Kneadatite Blue/Yellow, is a favorite among miniature figure sculptors and modelers. It has a wide range of uses: fashioning models for miniature pewter figure molds, filling gaps in built - up kits, customizing model kit pieces, and creating original sculptures. This two - part tape form epoxy/polyamide sealant cures at room temperature. It comes with the base and curing agent side by side on release film, and their contrasting colors make it easy to see when they're fully mixed. Its adhesive nature lets artists add details gradually, whether the previously applied Kneadatite has hardened or not. It adheres well to stone, ceramic, metal, wood, and many plastics like vinyl. Once fully hardened, you can paint, sand, file, drill, tap, and screw it. With an extremely smooth, non - grainy texture, a long work life of 1.5 to 2 hours, the ability to hold fine details, good adhesion to almost any surface, slight flexibility after cure, and the ability to withstand high heat (325 F) and up to 2,000 pounds of pressure during mold making, it's the top choice for sculptors and modelers.

To use the GF9 Green Stuff Basic Epoxy, first take equal amounts of the base and curing agent from the tape form. Knead them together until the contrasting colors blend uniformly, which indicates complete mixing. You can start using it right away for your projects, like making models for molds, filling gaps in kits, or adding custom parts. When applying it, you can add details gradually. If you're adding details after the previous layer has started to harden, it's still possible due to its good adhesive properties. Remember, it has a work life of 1.5 to 2 hours, so plan your work accordingly. As for storage, keep it in a cool, dry place. Once it's fully hardened, you can paint, sand, or drill it as you like. Be aware that it can withstand high heat up to 325 F and pressure up to 2,000 pounds during mold making, so don't worry too much about these factors in normal use.
