Board Game Geek Rating: 6.74, Avg Player Rating: 7.05. This 2015 retail edition of Celestia, a revamped Cloud 9, is a thrilling board game for 2 to 6 players. Join a team of adventurers on an aircraft, traveling through Celestia's cities to find precious treasures. The journey is risky, but the goal is to be the richest adventurer by collecting the most valuable treasures! At the start, players place their pawns in the aircraft and get 6 - 8 cards. Each round, a captain is chosen, rolls 2 - 4 dice to face challenges like fog, lightning, killer birds, or pirates. The captain must play the right cards - compass, lightning arrester, foghorn, or cannons - to keep going. Before the captain plays, players decide to stay or exit. Exiting guarantees victory points from exploring the current city. Staying hopes to reach the next city for more treasures. If the captain fails, everyone loses and starts a new trip. Adventurers can use special objects or change the trip during the game. The game ends when a player gets at least 50 - point treasure and wins.
