Players: 1 to 4. Published in 2021. This is the retail edition of Cloudspire: Vol 2 Ankar’s Plunder, a hardcover lore and scenario board game supplement book by Chip Theory Games. It comes with a 1996 - page hardbound book featuring 'lay flat' stitching. The core game is required and sold separately. It's an expansion of Cloudspire. Ankar’s Plunder hardcover lore and art book enriches the first part (The Joining War) by revealing more about the arrival of two new factions, The Uprising and Horizon’s Wrath. It offers a new extended novella, high - resolution art from the Ankar’s Plunder campaign, and new solo/co - op scenarios and skirmish battles. Cloudspire Vol. 2: Ankar’s Plunder breathes life into the next phase of The Joining War, telling the tale of new factions causing chaos in Ankar. Unlike Vol. 1, this hardcover includes new bonus scenarios and PvP skirmishes not in the faction expansions or base game. Note: The scenarios and skirmishes are the same as in the softcover booklet, but this book has extra art and lore. How to use: First, make sure you have the core Cloudspire game. Then, open the hardcover book and explore the new lore, scenarios, and art. You can play the solo or co - op scenarios with just the relevant faction and the base game. For skirmishes and bonus scenarios, gather the required expansions like Portal Seekers, the Griege, Horizon’s Wrath, and The Uprising. Note: This book's scenarios and skirmishes are also in the softcover booklet, but it has extra art and lore.
