Coal Baron

Coal Baron, also known as Glück Auf in German (a greeting German miners use to wish each other luck), is an exciting board game. Players send meeple miners underground to dig tunnels and obtain coal of four quality levels. This coal is used to fulfill contracts. The game spans three rounds. In each round, players take turns placing their workers on action spaces. You can occupy a space already taken by another player, but you'll need to add extra workers. Each player has their own elevator shaft and must use workers to extract coal and bring it to the surface. Meanwhile, they compete for contracts and search for cash to carry out all necessary tasks!

How to play: Start by setting up the game board with all the action spaces and elevator shafts. Each player gets their meeple miners. In each of the three rounds, take turns to place your workers on action spaces. If you want to use a space occupied by someone else, add more workers. Use your workers to dig tunnels and extract coal from your elevator shaft. Then, use the coal to fulfill contracts and earn cash. Things to note: Be careful when deciding to occupy an opponent's space as it requires extra workers. Also, plan your moves well to ensure you can get enough coal for contracts. Maintenance: Keep the game pieces in a dry and clean place. If the board gets dirty, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
