This engaging card game by Seiji Kanai is set in the world of Japanese geisha. Players step into the shoes of different geisha and compete to win the prestigious 'Mai - Star' title. Use the characters around you to boost your popularity. Attract guests, especially the more demanding ones, to earn money. Remember, just increasing popularity won't fill your coffers, and without spreading your name, wealthy and helpful guests won't come. You need to decide which character cards can increase your popularity and which ones to attract as guests. When a player runs out of cards, the round ends, and remaining cards in your hand count as negative points. So, quickly emptying your hand is crucial. After three festival nights (rounds), the player who has attracted the richest guests (earned the most money) becomes the 'Mai - Star'. This game shares a similar setting with Master Merchant.

To play this game, first, each player takes on the role of a geisha. Start using the character cards around you to increase your popularity. Try to attract guests, and aim for the more demanding ones as they'll earn you more money. When deciding which cards to use, think about which ones can boost your popularity and which ones you want as guests. As soon as a player runs out of cards, the round is over. Make sure to use up your cards quickly because the remaining ones in your hand will give you negative points. After three rounds, the player with the most money (the one who attracted the richest guests) wins the 'Mai - Star' title. Keep in mind that you need to balance between increasing popularity and earning money. Don't just focus on one aspect. And have fun competing with other players!
