Product Information
In the Mayan city of Palenque, King Pacal aims to control all Yucatan's resources. As rival kings, you'll compete to become the greatest Mayan ruler. Use your influence to control resources across Yucatan kingdoms. Build temples, change borders, and dominate resources. Players oppose Pacal, using ten types of resource cards and action points to expand empires. Dominate 14 kingdoms, exchange opponents' control markers, reserve markers, or build temples. Score whenever a Score Card is played. The player with the most control in each scoring round wins. Designed by Alan D. Ernstein, it includes a board, 70 wooden border markers, 144 wooden control discs, 12 plastic temples, 60 cards, 6 scoring markers, and rules. Suitable for 2 - 6 players aged 10 and above, with a playing time of 60 minutes.
To play this game, first set up the board and distribute the necessary components like border markers, control discs, and cards to all players. Each player represents a king opposing Pacal. Use your resource cards and action points to take actions such as expanding your empire, controlling kingdoms, and building temples. When a Score Card is played, everyone gets a chance to score. The key is to gain as much control as possible over the Yucatan Peninsula in each scoring round. For storage, keep all the components in a dry place to prevent the wooden pieces from warping. When you're done playing, make sure to put all the pieces back in the box neatly. Avoid bending the cards and keep the plastic temples away from sharp objects to prevent damage. Have fun playing and may the best king win!
