Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) - Lair of the Wyrm offers five exciting new quests. You can play them individually or use them to enhance a larger campaign. The Quest Guide presents fresh challenges with unique objectives like saving survivors from a burning inn and safeguarding valuable ore from a greedy ettin. This expansion also adds two new heroes. Reynhart the Worthy is a fearless warrior who can reroll misses once per attack, ensuring powerful strikes. High Mage Quellen can recover quickly and gain strength from others' fatigue. But the heroes' enemy is growing stronger. Besides the Wyrm Queen and a fiery Dragon Lord lieutenant, the Overlord gets two new monsters: Fire Imps and Hybrid Sentinels. The Overlord's new Punisher class specializes in making heroes pay for every step forward, using abilities like Trading Pains and Exploit Weakness to strike fear into hero players.

To use this product, first, read the Quest Guide to understand the new quests. You can choose to play the quests individually or integrate them into a larger campaign. When playing, assign the new heroes, Reynhart and Quellen, to your team and take advantage of their unique abilities. For the Overlord, utilize the new monsters and the Punisher class to challenge the heroes. Remember to keep the game components organized after each play.
