Keyflower: The Farmers

Keyflower: The Farmers is an exciting expansion for the Keyflower board game. In the base game, players build their unique villages over four seasons by successfully bidding on various village tiles like specialized buildings and boats, skills, resources, and workers (keyples). In this expansion, players focus on the agricultural aspect of their economy. They can acquire new farm buildings, grow wheat, and collect and breed farm animals such as cows, pigs, and sheep. The animals are kept in fields formed by the road layout, adding a new layer of strategy to the base game. Points can be earned through animal acquisition and breeding, wheat harvesting, and the layout of the fields. Players have the option to use all tiles from Keyflower: The Farmers and randomly add tiles from Keyflower to meet the required tile number or simply mix the two tile sets.

To use Keyflower: The Farmers, start by setting up the game according to the base Keyflower rules. Then, add the new farm - related tiles from this expansion. Players take turns bidding on tiles, resources, and workers. When it comes to the agricultural part, acquire farm buildings to start growing wheat and breeding animals. To score points, focus on harvesting wheat at the right time, breeding animals to increase your stock, and creating a good layout for your fields. As for maintenance, keep the tiles clean and organized. Avoid bending or damaging the cards. Store them in a cool, dry place to ensure they last for many games to come.
