People Power, Volume XI of the well - regarded and popular COIN Series designed by Volko Ruhnke, focuses on the insurgency in the Philippines from 1983 to 1986. Unlike most games, it features three distinct factions instead of four. The first is the Government, represented by Ferdinand Marcos, his wife Imelda, cronies, and military forces. The NPA, inspired by Marxist revolutions in China, Cuba, and Nicaragua, aim for a national uprising and to replace the Marcos regime with their own autonomous rule. The non - violent Reformers, led by Corazon Aquino, seek social justice and have the power to reshape the Philippine political scene. Similar to other COIN Series games, People Power puts players in a thrilling narrative where insurgents face off against the government, and a third party tries to disrupt both sides.

How to use: Set up the game board according to the instructions. Each player chooses one of the three factions - Government, NPA, or Reformers. Take turns making strategic moves, such as mobilizing forces, influencing the populace, and making political decisions. Try to achieve your faction's goals within the game's rules.
