Phantom Ink

Renowned mediums are in a thrilling competition to discover a secret object and prove they can connect with the 'World Beyond'. The first team to figure it out wins! To start Phantom Ink, divide players into the Sun and Moon teams, with each team having one Spirit and up to three Mediums. Mediums on a team share seven question cards. The spirits pick one of five objects on a card as the secret object to begin. On a turn, mediums pass two question cards to their spirit. Sample questions include 'What color is it most commonly?', 'What fictional character has it or uses it?', and 'If it were a musical instrument, what would it be?' The spirit discards one card face - up, returns the card to answer, and slowly writes the answer letter - by - letter. As soon as mediums think they know the clue, they yell 'Silencio' to stop the spirit. The other team's mediums can use the partial clue. At the end of a turn, draw two new question cards. Instead of passing cards, you can guess the answer letter - by - letter. An incorrect letter will be stopped by the spirits, but a correct full - word guess wins you the game! This game is for 4 - 8 players, takes 10 - 15 minutes, and is suitable for ages 13 and up.
