This is a Kickstarter Edition play mat for the Atlantis Rising Board Game Expansion by Elf Creek Games. It comes with one neoprene play mat and requires the core game (sold separately). It's an awesome accessory for Atlantis Rising. Note: paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. In Atlantis Rising, your home, the isle of Atlantis, is sinking. It's a co - operative worker placement game where you team up with up to five other players. Deploy citizens across your homeland to gather resources and build a cosmic gate to save your people. Workers near the shore are more rewarding but risk being flooded. Each turn, draw a misfortune card that floods parts of Atlantis or undermines your efforts. You must rush to gather resources before the island is gone. This edition has new art and graphic design, and the Athenians Attack phase is replaced by the Wrath of the Gods phase, adding more strategy and urgency. Now, instead of using an Atlantean Navy, players decide to flood tiles at the end of each round. Councilor player powers are expanded, and the knowledge deck is revised.
