Cthulhu Wars lets you step into the shoes of alien races and gods from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. The game is huge and comes with 64 figurines of cultists, monsters, aliens, and Great Old Ones, sized from about 20 mm to nearly 180 mm. Play on an Earth - themed map as one of four base - game factions. Each turn, gather power first and then use it in action rounds for tasks like recruiting cultists, moving units, battling, summoning monsters, building gates, casting spells, and awakening your Great Old One. The action phase ends when all players run out of power, and a new turn starts. Win by scoring points on the Doom Track. Reach 30 points and unlock all six spell books to be the sole winner. The base game supports 2 - 4 players (the map can handle 5), and with expansions, it can support up to 8 players.
