Players flick pieces on the board to simulate combat, and cards and special powers determine movement and attacks. This game supports up to eight players in competitive 'Team Mode' and up to four in co - operative 'Boss Mode' against an 'Overseer' player. Using this Catacombs expansion is a breeze. First, set up the new board and add the included heroes, monsters, and other pieces. The goal is to use the ability and spell cards to move your pieces around the board and attack your opponents. In Team Mode, up to eight players can compete. Just team up with your friends and strategize. For Boss Mode, up to four players work together against an Overseer. Remember, the paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign aren't included unless otherwise stated. When it comes to maintenance, keep the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear.
