The Sleeper expansion comes with amazing items: a Tsathoggua Figure, 6 Acolyte Cultist Figures, 2 Wizard Figures, 3 Serpent Men Figures, 4 Formless Spawn Figures, 2 Marker Figures, 6 Spellbooks, and a Faction Card. As the God of Entropy, Tsathoggua, rises from the depths, The Sleeper faction turns indolence into a powerful strategy. It can force enemy factions to make sacrifices, capture and sacrifice enemy monsters, and unleash ancient sorceries. The monsters can appear for free on - map, burrowing up from underground. The arcane wizards can teleport to an enemy's Faction Card and use their special abilities. And the Formless Spawn, a signature monster, has a battle strength equal to the number of them on the map. With abilities like Cursed Slumber, Lethargy, Death from Below, and Burrow, The Sleeper is the most power - efficient faction. In playtesting, The Sleeper has become one of the most beloved factions. How to Use: First, unpack all the figures and cards that come with the Sleeper expansion. Set up the game board as per the Cthulhu Wars main game rules. Place the Tsathoggua figure and other figures according to the starting setup instructions. During the game, use the Sleeper's special abilities to force enemy sacrifices, capture and sacrifice enemy monsters, and unleash ancient sorceries. The Formless Spawn's battle strength increases with their number on the map, so try to get more of them in play. The wizards can be used to teleport to an enemy's Faction Card. Note: Remember that the paid add - ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. Also, follow the general rules of the Cthulhu Wars game while using this expansion.
