It introduces a brand - new Elder One that can be combined with any episode from any season, offering a whole new gaming experience as you battle the perils of Ithaqua and his Shantak followers. The box contains 1 Ithaqua figure, 2 Shantak figures, 8 Mythos cards, 5 Elder One cards, and tokens. Ithaqua, the son of Hastur and Lord of the Winds, is a powerful Great Old One. He can control blizzards and snowstorms. When Ithaqua is the chosen Elder One, a blizzard token is placed on the board. Investigators entering the blizzard face max stress and can't heal it. As Ithaqua advances, the blizzard moves towards the investigators, summoning a Shantak. As he nears our realm, the blizzard intensifies, causing more stress, damage, and blocking movement. His cultists are immune to the cold. Shantaks are tough avian monsters with horse - like heads. They use Ithaqua's blizzards to enter our realm. When near a blizzard, they force investigators to take stress before attacks. Eliminate them quickly, though their resilience makes it a challenge. How to use: First, make sure you have the Cthulhu Death May Die core game. Then, open the Ithaqua the Wind - Walker expansion box. Take out the 1 Ithaqua figure, 2 Shantak figures, 8 Mythos cards, 5 Elder One cards, and tokens. When starting the game, you can choose to use Ithaqua as the Elder One. Place a blizzard token on the board when Ithaqua is chosen. As the game progresses, follow the rules related to Ithaqua's movement and the blizzard's effects. When dealing with Shantaks, be aware of their special abilities. Note that the core game is sold separately, and most paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included. Maintenance advice: Keep the figures away from sharp objects to avoid scratches. Store the cards in a dry and cool place to prevent warping.
