It includes the expansion and all unlocked stretch goals, but requires the Feudum core game (sold separately). Will you choose a sloop, submersible, or airship? Or save money to strengthen your ramparts? Feudum: Rudders & Ramparts is a smart expansion to the award - winning Feudum, with beautifully crafted vessels and castles. Designed by Justin Schultz, Bruce Monson, and Scott Ryan, these deluxe components can be used for a military game variant or just admired. Stretch goals include 3D rendered models, prototypes of vessels and ramparts, and hand - painted prototypes. Rule additions bring many choices. Castles come with a 'royal guard', so you don't need to reinforce with subjects. Deluxe vessels can target nearby opponents, but their upkeep can be costly. You can upgrade to deluxe vessels or castle feudums by paying an extra shilling. Earn +1 attack for a deluxe vessel and +1 defense for a castle feudum. Hey there! Playing this Feudum: Rudders and Ramparts expansion is a blast. First off, you'll need the Feudum core game to play this expansion. When you start, a bunch of cool vessels show up at the port. You and other players can decide whether to buy a vessel or save your money to beef up your ramparts. If you want to, you can pay an extra shilling to upgrade to a deluxe vessel or a castle feudum. That'll give you +1 attack for a deluxe vessel and +1 defense for a castle feudum. But here's the catch: at the start of each new epoch, you have to pay 1 shilling to keep your deluxe stuff. Otherwise, you'll lose that advantage. One great thing about having a castle is that it comes with a 'royal guard'. So you don't have to waste time and money reinforcing your feudum with subjects. On the other hand, if you have a deluxe vessel, it can target opponents in nearby ports. But be careful, the upkeep for these deluxe items can be expensive and might make you run out of money.
