Mythic Battles: Ragnarok Ragnar Saga (Kickstarter Special)

Players: 2 to 4. Published in 2022. This is a Kickstarter exclusive board game expansion for Mythic Battles: Ragnarok by Monolith. It's inspired by the Saga of Ragnar Lodbrok and the epic tales of his sons and wives, filled with quarrels, battles, and victories. The expansion includes 5 hero miniatures, 5 hero dashboards, 22 various cards, and 2 adventure - mode scenarios in 1 booklet. It introduces 5 new heroes (Ragnar, Aslaug, Ivar, Bjorn, Eysteinn Beli) and 2 jarls. Thora allows a troop to gain the Guard talent, and Sigurd Snake - in - the - Eye prohibits enemies from retaliating against the troop he binds to. There are two exciting scenarios: Blood Eagle, where Ragnar, Aslaug and their sons stop a sacrifice, and Holmgang, where BjÖrn and Ivar's differences lead to a battle. These scenarios are played without gods, with hero - led armies. Note: This requires the Mythic Battles: Ragnarok core game (sold separately), and paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless otherwise stated. How to Use: First, make sure you have the Mythic Battles: Ragnarok core game as this expansion requires it to play. Set up the expansion by placing the 5 hero miniatures on the board and laying out the 5 hero dashboards. Shuffle the 22 various cards and use them as per the rules of the scenarios. For the 2 adventure - mode scenarios in the booklet, follow the storylines to play. Blood Eagle and Holmgang are played without gods, with your heroes leading the armies. Note that paid add - ons from the Kickstarter Campaign are not included unless stated. Maintenance: Keep the miniatures away from sharp objects to avoid damage. Store the cards in a card protector to prevent wear and tear. If the booklet gets dirty, gently wipe it with a soft cloth. Enjoy your Mythic Battles: Ragnarok Ragnar Saga expansion!
